Podczas weekendu udałam się na (w połowie samotną) wycieczkę po Londynie. Udało mi się dotrzeć z Greenwich do Londynu i z powrotem (tak, jestem z siebie dumna!). Swoją podróż rozpoczęłam spod stacji metra Westminster do Trafalgar Square i udałam się na wystawę portretów Audrey Hepburn w National Portrait Gallery (o tym wkrótce). Następnie spotkałam się z ukochaną kuzynką i poszłyśmy do National Gallery, potem na spacer do St James' Park (ścieżką upamiętniającą księżniczkę Dianę), pod Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park (i Speakers' Corner) aż do Marble Arch. Było naprawdę cudownie. Oto kilka zdjęć:
During the weekend I went for a (nearly alone) trip to London. I managed to go from Greenwich to London with a return (yes, I'm proud of myself!). My trip began from at the Westminster Station to Trafalgar Square where I went to an Audrey Hepburn's Portrait Exhibition (details soon). Then I met with my beloved cousin and we visited National Gallery, then we went for a walk (through a memorial walk of Princess Diana), to Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park (and Speakers' Corner) to Marble Arch. It was absolutely wonderful. Below I attached some photos:
Dziękuję mojej najukochańszej kuzynce, nie tylko za oprowadzenie po Londynie i poświęcanie mi czasu (którego zapewne nie ma zbyt wiele), ale także za to, że dzięki niej stałam się odważniejsza i ciekawa świata. Myślę, że gdyby nie Ty - nie byłabym teraz w miejscu, gdzie jestem. Merci!
Thanks to the best cousin ever, not only for showing me London and sharing your precious time with me (I know that she doesn't have much time) but also because of the fact that I became more brave and curious of the world (that's her merit). I think that I wouldn't be here without your help. Merci!
